Journey so far…
I soldered my first ring in 2016 when my step dad set me the challenge of making mine and my husband’s wedding rings like he had done for my mum and himself.
He gave me some silver he had left over from one of his many hobbies and shared his knowledge.
I continued to learn by watching YouTube videos and was fascinated to read about equipment needed to achieve different results, treating myself each month to a new tool and just loving the trial and error of creating.
From then I just couldn’t stop making jewellery and I created ‘Kiss of Metal’ in April 2020.
I like my jewellery to have complete freedom to explore different styles and techniques.
I’ve always been drawn to the unusual in life, inspiring me to make unique pieces often with a bohemian touch.
Being fascinated with how things are made, I love to share my own processes so you can follow the journey and I welcome your interaction and involvement. 🫶
It’s been awesome exploring this passion these last few years and I’ve learnt so much.
I don’t ever want to lose that magical feeling when you successfully achieve something for the first time.
